As our survivalist ability to adapt grapples with AI and our own digital persona – we dance – we sing – we interface with augmented reality… the dissonance between reality, perception and social construct is challenged by playful wonder.
“Reality Warping” is a performance piece by Canadian choreographer and director Jasmine Ellis. Working with dance, music, projections and video looping, social media, and augmented reality, it questions the relationship between our digital existence and our analogue self.
Olicía composed and produced the music to „Reality Warping“ with multiple guest performers who also act and dance in the piece. „Ice Cream“ features Adaya Berkovich, „Reality“ and „Chaos“ feature the lyrics and voices of Breeanne Howll and L-Munny.
Among the 14 tracks is an Olicía-Version of the Björk song „All Is Full Of Love“. Olicía create their very own version of the song based on their unique setup of two synchronized loop stations, multiple instruments and their voices.
